On the occasion of the International Mother Language Day, College of Languages at Nawroz University held a discussion session in collaboration with Duhok General Directorate of Culture and Arts, on Monday, February 21, 2022, at the University of Nawroz.

During the session, many elite professors and doctors delivered their speeches and presented
a wide range of topics and discussions regarding Kurdish Language. In addition, a remarkable
subject entitled “Language as Life and Identification of Nations- Comparative Analysis”
was presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Shawkat Sindi from Zakho University.
